How did you come up with the idea for ENEMIES CLOSER?

I had a high-level Hollywood career for more than two decades; you can imagine the crazy stories that came from that experience! I took elements of my own life and those of many around me to create a fictional world that mirrors the backstabbing bitchery of the entertainment industry as it exists today. It’s up to the reader to find the truth in the pages, wink wink; it’s a fun and outrageous ride

How did you celebrate Thanksgiving?

I had a lovely, traditional Thanksgiving with my family in South Florida, but I need a break from planes and trains.  So, for the winter holidays, I’ll be staying put in sunny Los Angeles and refueling for the year ahead.

What is it like to be LGBT in the US at the moment?

Los Angeles, where I live, is a large, diverse and progressive city, so my personal LGBT experience is not terribly different now from a few years ago.  Over the last couple of years, however, there have been some unfortunate backward steps across the country — including more hate crimes — which I find devastating. There is still a lot of work to do, so I remain active and vigilant regardless of my own day-to-day.

If your books were made into movies, who would you like to star in them?

I’ve said many times during promotional interviews that I think Adele could carry the role of “Marcee” in ENEMIES CLOSER; it would be the perfect first acting gig for her.  As far as PORN AGAIN, Timothée Chalamet would be fantastic in the lead.

What countries in the world would you still like to visit?

I’m still dying to visit Australia! I need to make some time to get there soon.

Do you plan to come back to the UK soon?

I’m going to be in England in the spring of 2019. I still haven’t done a UK book signing yet — maybe we need to rally Waterstone’s or Foyle's? Let’s make something happen!

What are your plans for 2019?

2019 is going to be busy! I’m working on a new book in addition to executive producing five movies for cable television. Let’s see if I survive!
